Refund policy

Return & Refund Policy

We want you to be confident purchasing from The Card Habit. Because trading cards and sealed collectible products can fluctuate in value and may be susceptible to tampering after opening, some products have specific return restrictions.

Returns

Eligible items may be returned within 14 days of delivery. To qualify for a return, the item must be in the same condition in which it was received, unused, and in its original packaging where applicable.

Please contact us before sending any item back. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

Sealed Trading Card Products

Factory-sealed trading card products may be returned within 14 days of delivery only if they remain completely unopened, untampered with, and in their original condition.
Opened, partially opened, unwrapped, or otherwise altered sealed products are not eligible for return.

Minor manufacturer imperfections to shrink wrap, packaging, boxes, or other exterior packaging that do not affect the contents of the product are not considered damage unless otherwise stated in the product listing.

Trading Card Singles

Individual trading cards are generally final sale due to fluctuations in collectible-market pricing.

If you receive the wrong card, the wrong condition, or an item that was materially different from its listing, please contact us and we will work to make it right.

Graded Cards

Professionally graded cards are generally final sale.

Because grading is performed by an independent grading company, The Card Habit cannot guarantee or independently verify the accuracy of a grading company's assigned grade.

If you receive the wrong graded card or the slab arrives damaged during shipment, please contact us.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order when it arrives.

If your order arrives damaged, contains the wrong item, or has another fulfillment issue, contact us as soon as reasonably possible and include your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs when applicable.

If the issue resulted from an error by The Card Habit or damage during shipment, we will work with you on an appropriate resolution, which may include replacement, refund, or return at our expense.

Please retain the original item and packaging until the issue has been resolved.

Cancellations

Orders may be canceled for a full refund if the cancellation request is received before the order has been processed or shipped.

Once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be canceled and any eligible return will be handled according to this Return & Refund Policy.

Preorders

Unless otherwise stated on the product page, preorder cancellations may be requested before the order enters processing.

Release dates for trading card products are established by manufacturers and distributors and may change. Delays outside of our control do not automatically qualify an order for additional compensation.

Return Shipping

For approved returns that are not the result of an error by The Card Habit, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and appropriate packaging. The customer is responsible for returned merchandise until it is delivered to us.

If the return is caused by an incorrect item, fulfillment error, or other issue for which The Card Habit is responsible, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs.

Refunds
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method after the returned merchandise has been received and inspected.
Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the return resulted from an error by The Card Habit.
Please allow time for your bank or payment provider to process the refund after it has been issued.
Market Price Changes
Changes in the market value of a trading card, graded card, or sealed product after purchase are not grounds for a return, refund, or price adjustment.
